This morning I finally cracked into a PB for strict pull ups!
For weeks I was stuck at 6 reps, and today I got 7. Although small, this achievement was something I’ve been working on all year. At the start of the year I was able to do 3 reps. Very very slowly I have built up my strength to be able to do more over time.
How did I do this?
I practiced at least 2 times a week. Switching things up so my body could keep progressing. Plus I ensured I was getting adequate upper body training.
Moral of the story, don’t give up if you haven’t crushed your goal just yet! It may take weeks to see any improvements, but when they come it is the best feeling 🤩
