Stress less and stretch

The last week has been pretty tough, not gonna lie. Dealing with a double study load, having some personal issues, trying to earn money, trying to stay active, having acne breakouts.. just the whole works. It’s just been one emotional and stressful rollercoaster.

But, one thing that helps me, is spending 10 minutes at the end of a workout to stretch. This 10 minutes is where I can just breathe, let my muscles relax, and let go of the tension.
Some of my favourites are

  • Forward bend
  • Hip flexor stretch
  • Laying spinal rotations
  • Down dog
  • Wide angle seated forward reach

Sorry if these aren’t the correct names but I think you’ll get the picture.

Stretch for between 30seconds to a few minutes each pose.
